What are Bread Crumbs?
Bread crumbs are are small particles of dry bread, which are used for breading or crumbing foods, topping casseroles, stuffing poultry, thickening stews, and adding inexpensive bulk to meatloaves and similar foods. [1]
Bread crumbs are technically not an ingredient in their own and contain many sub ingredients. For this reason bread crumbs can possibly contain natural and/or artificial ingredients.
