Cauliflower is a vegetable in the species Brassica oleracea, in the family Brassicaceae. Cauliflower can be found in a variety of colors such as, orange, green, purple, and white being the most common. [1]
The species, Brassica oleracea, also includes; cabbage, brussels sprouts, kale, broccoli, and collard greens, although, they are of different cultivar groups. [1]
