What is Choline?
Choline is an organic essential nutrient and is usually grouped with the Vitamin B complex family. [1]
Choline was discovered in 1864 by Andreas Strecker. It was chemically synthesized in 1866. In 1998 choline was classified as an essential nutrient by the Food and Nutrition Board of the Institute of Medicine in the USA. [1]
