What is Cyclodextrin?
Cyclodextrin also known as cycloamyloses, is a a family of compounds made up of sugar molecules bound together in a ring and are produced from starch by means of enzymatic conversion. [1]
Cyclodextrins, as they are known today, were called "cellulosine" when first described by A. Villiers in 1891. [1]
