What is Masa?
Masa is Spanish for dough but usually refers to corn meal dough in food products. It is used for making tortillas, tamales and other Latin dishes. The dried and powdered form is called Masa Harina. You may also see the use of Masa Trigo which refers to wheat flour in Spanish. [1]
