What is Mayonnaise?
Mayonnaise is a sauce used as a food spread. It is a stable emulsion of oil, egg yolk and either vinegar or lemon juice. [1]
Mayonnaise may contain sub ingredients of natural and/or artificial origin. Most manufacturers list these sub ingredients on the packaging; However, if no sub ingredients are listed, it is recommended to contact the food manufacturer of the given product for a list of the ingredients.
