What is Natural Gum?
Natural gum usually refers to one of many natural gums that originate from plants and trees. They are used as thickening agents, gelling agents, emulsifiers and stabilizers. Natural gums you'll often find are Agar, Carrageenan, Gellan, Guar, Gum Arabic, Locust Bean Gum, Tara and Xanthan gum.

If a gum has the word, "Modified" next to it it may have been modified in a natural or artificial means.
