Sea salt, originally called bay salt is a type of salt obtained by the process of evaporating sea water. It's regularly used in cooking. Many chefs have believed sea salt to be better than ordinary table salt in taste and texture. [1]
Health
As for health Sea Salt is substantially healthier than normal table salt and contains important minerals that you won't find in normal table salt. These minerals consist of, calcium, potassium, magnesium, sulfate and small traces of other nutritional minerals. [1]
Salt has been in general use long before recorded time. The earliest known use of salt was in 2,700 B.C. in China when the Peng-Tzao-Kan-Mu devoted a major discussion on more than forty types of salts. [2]
