What is Siberian Ginseng?
Siberian ginseng also known as Eleutherococcus senticosus is an herb from Siberia. Siberian ginseng is not a true ginseng at all. It is another adaption, but a different plant that was renamed as "Siberian ginseng" as a marketing ploy. Instead of having a fleshy root, it has a woody root and instead of ginsenosides, eleutherosides are present. [1]
