What is Vegetable Oil?

Vegetable Oil is oil derived from plants. Vegetable oil can come in a variety of different oils, such as Coconut Oil, Corn Oil, Cottonseed Oil, Olive Oil, Palm Oil, Rapeseed Oil (AKA Canola Oil), Safflower Oil, Sesame Oil, Soybean Oil or Sunflower Oil.

Is Vegetable Oil Natural?

All vegetable oils are natural as long as they remain in their original state.

Is Vegetable Oil Healthy?

There has been many arguments made whether some types of vegetable oil are healthy or not. It all comes down to the process in which the oil is produced. Some Oils are truly healthier than others, notably Olive Oil has been said to be the healthiest. "Olive oil is considered by some to be the healthiest oil because it provides a mix of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats." [3]

Partially Hydrogenated Oils

Partially hydrogenated oils have proven to be bad for health. "Consuming partially hydrogenated oils is like inhaling cigarette smoke. They will kill you -- slowly, over time, but as surely as you breathe. And in the meantime, they will make you fat!" [1]

Expeller pressed oil is oil extracted from nuts or seeds by crushing them. [2]
